Panorama 2962

The brand-new restaurant is an excellent reason to visit the Zugspitze. At an altitude of almost 3,000 m above sea level, the versatile restaurant is an architectural treat. It will serve typical specialities from the Alpine region, garnished with rich panoramic views. From quick coffees and snacks to refined meals and group celebrations, conferences and concerts: the different areas and multifunctional spaces mean everything is possible.

After the construction of the modern Zugspitze Cable car, the restaurant at the summit was also completely redesigned in spring 2018.

With the opening of the new Panorama 2962 summit restaurant, the spectacular ascent and culinary delights combine to create an outstanding overall experience. Connoisseurs can look forward to an innovative kitchen concept that corresponds to open hybrid gastronomy. The restaurant on the Zugspitze represents the best views: In the cozy lake view, high tables with bar stools invite you to enjoy the view of the picturesque Eibsee and the foothills of the Alps. From that point of view interested parties can also get great insights into the technology of the Zugspitze Cable car.

The neighboring summit room is the only area that can be completely closed and is therefore ideally suited as a seminar and conference room.

On the other side of Panorama 2962, the summit view offers a clear view of the summit cross, which seems close enough to touch. The multifunctional room can be adjusted in size as required using sliding elements and curtains. Conference guests will find space here as well as larger event groups.

The Dallmayr coffee bar and the pizza area with standing tables and bar stools invite you to refresh yourself and have a quick bite to eat. If you are in the mood for fresh air, coffee and sweets, you can enjoy the view in another coffee bar on the summit terrace.
