Zugspitze goes Veggie

With a step into the future of gastronomy, the Gletscher 2600 restaurant opens the winter season on plateau Zugspitze with a completely vegetarian menu. Below the Zugspitz summit, the team at Gletscher 2600 shows that vegetarian cuisine does not mean compromises, but opens up a new world of flavors. 

The menu at Gletscher 2600 is a creative mix of ski hut classics and refined Alpine cuisine. Anyone who thinks that a vegetarian restaurant on the Zugspitze only serves salads and simple dishes will be surprised here. The menu is rustic and hearty, as you would expect from Alpine cuisine, but also contemporary, light and fresh.

In addition to oven cheese and pumpkin soup, classics such as Leberkas and currywurst still find their place on the menu thanks to the plant-based and sustainable products from THE GREEN MOUNTAIN.
