Germany's highest mountain experience

Zugspitze, Garmisch-Classic & Mount Wank: no other region in Germany offers so many high-alpine experiences as the mountains around Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

No view can keep up with the 360° panorama on the Zugspitze summit. Where else can you see 400 mountain peaks in four countries? Far above the clouds and far away from everyday life, visitors can enjoy tobogganing fun on natural snow in summer, explore the glacier adventure trail, scramble in the Zugspitze Alpine Park and much more.

Visitors will also find mountains full of nature experiences in the Garmisch-Classic area and on Mount Wank. The adrenaline is also sure to rise on the AlpspiX viewing platform, which towers almost 1,000 meters above the abyss. At Mount Wank, on the opposite of the Zugspitze, the visitors can enjoy the gentle landscape far away from the hustle and bustle of the hotspots.
