Natursteig Osterfelder
The themed trail, funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Environment, is located between the mountain station of the Alpspitzbahn cable on Osterfelderkopf and the mountain station of the Kreuzeckbahn cable car. At over 30 interactive stations, knowledge about nature and the local mountains is combined with movement elements from Felix Neureuther‘s „Beweg dich schlau!“ initiative.
Note: the stations of Natursteig Osterfelder will be set up during July (starting at the Osterfelderkopf). The themed trail will be completed by the start of the Bavarian summer vacations at the latest. The hiking trail itself is regularly accessible and can be walked.

The trail is between the mountain station of the Alpspitzbahn cable car on Osterfelderkopf and the mountain station of the Kreuzeckbahn cable car and can be perfectly combined with the Garmisch-Classic round trip.
