Cable car Zugspitze and Zugspitze summit open ✅
Gletscherbahn cable car, cogwheel train and Zugspitzplatt/ski resort closed ❌
Rail replacement service: Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Grainau – Eibsee
No stops at Hausberg and Kreuzeck-/Alpspitzbahn. A temporary stop will be set up at the junction Zugspitzstraße/Höllentalstraße for the Hammersbach stop.
Garmisch-Classic
Information
The ski season in the Garmisch-Classic area has ended; all lifts and cable cars are closed for maintenance.
The Alpspitzbahn, Hochalmbahn, and Kreuzeckbahn cable car will reopen for summer operation from May 14, 2026.
