Culinary highlight

on Germany's highest mountain

 High Dining promises a unique combination of breathtaking views and gastronomy at the highest level.

The event starts at 17:30 at the valley station of the cable car Zugspitze. The world record-breaking cable car takes you up to Germany's highest mountain in comfort. There, guests are welcomed on the summit terrace and can enjoy an aperitif and the first course in the sunset.

Afterwards, the Panorama 2962 team will serve three more dishes at stylish long tables with a view of the summit. Let us surprise you by the creations of the kitchen director Manuel Bunke and get into conversation with your fellow diners and the restaurant team. The evening comes to a delightful conclusion with desserts and digestifs, which are served at various stations throughout the restaurant.

High Dining is more than just a dinner: it is an experience for all the senses, where fine dining fans can enjoy culinary delights of the highest standard in a breathtaking atmosphere.

The price of €189 per person includes the ascent and descent on the cable car Zugspitze, the parking ticket at the valley station parking lot, five dishes and drinks (aperitif, wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee). Cocktails and spirits at the bar are not included in the price.

High Dining is designed to invite you to get into conversation with other culinary enthusiasts and our catering team. Dinner is therefore served at long tables in the Gipfelblick, while dessert is served at various stations throughout the restaurant. It is therefore not possible to reserve individual tables

The detailed menu will be announced in advance of the event.

A fixed menu is served. A separate vegetarian or vegan menu option is not available. However, it is of course possible to serve the corresponding courses without meat.

As this is an exclusive evening event outside regular opening hours, no special tickets are available for season or annual pass holders.

Event visitors are requested to use the parking lots at the Zugspitze cable car and Eibsee train station. Parking tickets are included in the ticket price. Please take a parking ticket when entering—the barriers will be open after the event has ended. We can only offer this service at the above-mentioned parking lots.

Please note that after the event, there will be no more cogwheel trains or buses running from Eibsee to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
