Attractive offers for families are waiting for visitors of all ages on the Zugspitze, on Mount Wank and in the Garmisch-Classic area.
Winter offers
During skiing lessons or together with their parents: At Ixis children’s area in the Garmisch-Classic ski area, young skiers can practise their first turns and also work on their coordination and concentration skills.
Tobogganing fans of all ages will find toboggan runs designed for families on the Zugspitze plateau in the Zugspitze ski area, where even the youngest kids can learn to steer and manoeuvre their bob sledges and wooden sledges.
Summer offers
On Mount Wank and in the Garmisch-Classic area, visitors can choose between hiking trails of different lengths and different degrees of difficulty.
The adventure hiking trails are particularly suitable for families with children. Along the routes, there are interactive stations as well as various places to stop for refreshments. On Mount Wank, children can look forward to a playground with various installations on which they can practice climbing and train their balance.
