Summer offers
On Mount Wank and in the Garmisch-Classic area, visitors can choose between hiking trails of different lengths and different degrees of difficulty.
The Natursteig Osterfelder in the Garmisch-Classic area is particularly suitable for families with children. In addition to interactive stations, there are also various places to stop for refreshments along the themed trail. On Mount Wank, children can look forward to a playground with various installations on which they can practice climbing and train their balance.
Winter offers
During skiing lessons or together with their parents: At Ixis children’s area in the Garmisch-Classic ski area, young skiers can practise their first turns and also work on their coordination and concentration skills.
Tobogganing fans of all ages will find toboggan runs designed for families on the Zugspitze plateau in the Zugspitze ski area, where even the youngest kids can learn to steer and manoeuvre their bob sledges and wooden sledges.
