By using / downloading the image material provided by Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG, you accept the following terms of use.

Terms of use

The purpose of the picture service of the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG (BZB) is to support the advertising and editorial activities of third parties in favor of the promotion of the BZB by providing picture material.
The images are only provided under the present terms of use. Any conditions of the contractual partner (hereinafter "user") are expressly not part of the contract.

Extend of the terms of use

The right of use free of charge includes:

• The presentation of tourist offers from and about the BZB as well as other advertising publications from and about the BZB.
• The design of journalistic articles about the BZB in press products such as e.g. in daily newspapers, magazines, magazines, brochures and TV reports as well
• The advertising support of events, conferences, congresses, trade fairs, exhibitions and concerts in the area of the facilities and managed areas of the BZB

Excluded from the right of use is any other type of use of the image material, in particular in connection with making an economic profit, such as postcards, calendars, illustrated books, mobile phone logos, canvases, puzzles, T-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, posters/placards (with the exception of tourist advertising posters) and similar objects.

Also excluded from the right of use is the use of the image material for the design support of product presentations or service offers by commercial companies outside the tourism industry. The right of use does not include use for tourism service providers other than the BZB.

If there are any doubts as to the admissibility of the uses, this must be clarified with the BZB before the corresponding use. Any illegal use will be prosecuted by the BZB or the author under civil and, if necessary, criminal law.

The free use includes only the right to use the photographic copyright. This applies in particular to image templates whose content may be subject to further copyright protection (e.g. works of fine and performing art).

The production of copies for your own archiving purposes as well as the electronic or digital storage of the image data offered for archiving purposes (e.g. image databases) is prohibited. The user is not entitled to pass on further rights of use. In the event of a violation of the terms of use, the user may be permanently revoked the right of use granted in these regulations.

Picture credits / author attribution

Every time one of the pictures is published, “Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG” must be printed as a picture credit. If the name of the photographer is also given for the respective picture, this name must also be given in the form "Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG / first and last name". The author must be named in the immediate vicinity of the image or in a separate imprint, stating the number of pages referred to.

A complete copy of each publication must be sent to the BZB, Press Department, Olympiastraße 31, 82467 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, without being asked, from which the specific use of the image can be identified.

Portrait right – Art Copyright Act (KUG/KunstUhrG)

The user is responsible for the caption. The BZB assumes no liability for a violation of the general right of personality or the right to a portrait of the persons depicted. If such rights are violated, the user alone is liable for damages to any third parties.

Other agreements

Unless specifically stated above, the provisions of German copyright law apply to any use. For deliveries from abroad, German law applies. Jurisdiction and place of performance is Garmisch-Partenkirchen if the user is a merchant. Should a provision of these terms of use be void, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Instead of the ineffective provisions, a regulation shall apply which the parties would have wanted according to the meaning and purpose of the agreement if they had been aware of the ineffectiveness.
