We welcome the day on Osterfelderkopf. Every Friday in summer, an hour of pilates or yoga takes place on the rooftop terrace of the Alpspitzbahn cable car mountain station at Osterfelderkopf with a breathtaking view of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the surrounding mountains.

The ticket includes one hour of pilates or yoga on the rooftop terrace of the Alpspitzbahn cable car mountain station followed by a vital breakfast at the Osterfelder 2000 (including a hot drink). 

  • 49,50 € incl. an ascent and descent with the Alpspitzbahn cable car
  • 31,00 € without cable car ticket (for season and annual pass holders)

Tickets can only be booked in advance via the webshop (until the day before). It is not possible to book at short notice on site.

Tickets will be available in the webshop from the end of April 2025.

Afterwards
Breakfast at the Osterfelder 2000 and individual descent with the Alpspitzbahn cable car

  • Osterfelder BergfleX only takes place in good weather. If the event is canceled due to bad weather conditions, tickets will be refunded. 
  • The sports session takes place in the open air at an altitude of around 2000 meters. It can still be fresh in the morning hours and we recommend bringing warm clothing (comfortable sportswear, light sneakers and a jacket to cover up)
  • (Pilates or yoga) mats must be brought by the participants themselves.
  • The pilates sessions are held in German, the yoga sessions are bilingual in German and English.

Pilates

  • Intensive but gentle and controlled strength training for the whole body
  • Strengthening focuses on the core, which is constantly active and activated
  • Training of the deep muscles (especially the abdomen, back and pelvic floor)
  • Holistic body training for leg and arm muscles, taking physiological muscle work into account

Yoga

With the help of yoga, body, mind, soul and the entire cosmos should become a harmonious unit. Yoga today primarily involves

  • Movement or postures (asanas)
  • Breathing exercises (pranayama)
  • Mindfulness and relaxation (meditation)
  • Ethical behavior and the observance of rules for cooperation
