Glacier Trail
on Nördlicher Schneeferner glacier
Together with the Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus, the Glacier Trail was completely revised 2024.
The six panels inform you about glaciers, golbal warming, the Environmental Research Station Schneefernerhaus and geology at Zugspitze. The trail is located only 15 minutes from Restaurant Sonnalpin and can be walked in either direction.
- The stations are only set up during the summer season and can be explored in any order.
- Duration: about 45 minutes
- We recommend solid footwear.
Please note: The stations are only set up during the summer season. However, the loop trail can also be walked in winter.
