They organise and facilitate unique adventures and unforgettable moments for you 365 days a year – while hiking, on the glacier, on the rock or on skis.

Programme:

At 2,962 metres, the Zugspitze is Germany’s highest mountain. An ascent of the main peak opens up completely new perspectives in the truest sense of the word. Because only from the highest point can you enjoy Germany’s most impressive panorama with a 360-degree all-round view. The ascent is diligently planned and organised by experienced, state-certified mountain and ski guides. Every summit aspirant is secured throughout – from the visitor platform to the summit and back. The ascent takes place after a detailed safety briefing. That’s how an ascent of the Zugspitze main summit is possible even in extreme weather conditions of snow and ice.

Requirements:

The short climb to the Zugspitze summit requires a basic level of physical fitness, surefootedness and a head for heights. Rental equipment is provided by the Zugspitz Guides.

Programme:

The Schneeferner is one of the last glaciers in Germany and is located directly behind Sonnalpin restaurant on the Zugspitze plateau. A mountain guide accompanies you on the glacier tour. The tour across the northern Schneeferner takes about two to three hours. During this time, you will receive interesting information on the current status and effects of climate change on the Zugspitze, and you’ll be able to experience the “eternal ice” up close. Get excited because you’re in for an unforgettable adventure with the professional Zugspitze mountain guides!

Requirements:

The short tour across the Schneeferner requires a basic level of physical fitness – enough for a two- to three-hour hike. Furthermore, surefootedness and warm clothing are required. Rental equipment is provided by the Zugspitz Guides.
