Skiing fun all around the Zugspitze. Today in Bavaria - tomorrow in the Tyrol. The 2-in-1 ski pass (minimum validity: 2 days) makes it all possible. So depending on the weather, on the snow conditions or simply on your fancy, you can decide whether you’d prefer to go skiing, snowboarding or hiking in Mittenwald, the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena or in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Choose from a total of 87 lifts and downhill runs covering a distance of 213 kilometres.

Children under 6 years travel free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children from 6-15 pay the Child price, young people from 16-18 inclusive pay the Youth price. Family tickets and the “Child in the Family” tariff: valid for families (children from 6 to 18 inclusive accompanied by at least one parent). ID required for reduced tariffs.

Dogs are welcome on our all our lines. The contribution for the trip up and down is a one-off charge of € 5.00.

No free transport of people with disabilities pursuant to § 228 SGB IX (German Social Insurance Code vol. IX) on the line Grainau – Zugspitze and on the cable cars, chair lifts and drag lifts operated by Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG. On purchase of a ticket passengers are bound by the General Conditions of Carriage, which are publicly displayed at all stations. Tickets are non-transferable.

Tickets for the Zugspitze only allow one return journey up and down the Zugspitze (per day).
