Exclusive pre-opening
with the Neureuther family
On December 12, young skiing pros from Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the surrounding area will have the opportunity to test the brand-new Kreuzwankl ski lift one day before its public opening. And because a new lift isn't exciting enough on its own, the Neureuther family is adding a generous portion of heart, tradition, and family spirit to the mix.
Information
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Hausbergbahn cable car and the new Kreuzwankl ski lift will be running exclusively for local children. During this time, the Garmischer Haus will be serving “Bud Spencer soup” as the perfect refreshment for a short break. The soup is a legendary special recipe from the Neureuther family. Miri Neureuther will be there in person to serve it, and Felix will send his children's book hero Ixi along as a mascot.
Of course, the local ski schools will also be there for a children's ski day in the heart of the Garmisch-Classic. The ski instructors will help the kids get started, accompany them on the lift and on the slopes, and teach them playful concentration exercises with “Beweg dich Schlau” (Move Smart).
Registration in the web shop is expected to be possible from December 1st, 2025.
Notes
- Each child is welcome to bring one parent.
- Tickets cost € 6.50 per person and can be purchased in advance from the online shop.
- Important: Participation is only possible with advance registration. Annual and season ticket holders must also register.
- The price includes “Bud Spencer soup” with a non-alcoholic drink at the Garmischer Haus. The other restaurants will be closed on December 12, 2025.
- On December 12, 2025, skiing will only be possible on one slope at Kreuzwankl ski lift. The rest of the ski area and the ticket offices will be closed.
- The kids' ski day will only take place if there is sufficient snow. In the event of cancellation, guests will be informed in advance by email and the ticket costs will be refunded.
