Opposite Germany’s highest mountain, Mount Wank (1,780 m) boasts unique scenic views. With its beautiful summit plateau, it is a popular destination for families in particular. The Wankbahn cable car takes visitors up to the summit.

  • Hiking trails: easy hiking routes for families with small and older children, for spry seniors and nature lovers 
  • Trail running: numerous trails for beginners and advanced runners
  • Breakfast on Mount Wank: Sonnenalm is open daily from 9.00 am and offers a delicious breakfast menu. How to get there: with the Wankbahn cable car, daily from 9.00 am. 
  • Restaurants: Sonnalm is open for day guests and can also be booked for events and seminars. 
  • Camping on Mount Wank: The camping site directly at the Wankbahn cable car station offers 100 pitches as well as newly renovated toilets, showers and washbasins.
